Shopify Automation Specialist  ·  Founder, Stack Architect

I build and document free, open-source automation tools for Shopify store owners. Every guide on this site comes from hands-on implementation work — building Make.com scenarios, configuring server-side tracking APIs, and testing every build hands-on before it's published. The same architecture that Elevar charges $300/month and Triple Whale charges $129/month for — released here free, with the full source on GitHub, step-by-step setup, and no upsell.

Where this knowledge comes from

Stack Architect exists because of a pattern I kept seeing in the Shopify ecosystem: store owners paying $149–$299/month for server-side tracking tools that do little more than route a Shopify Order webhook through an automation platform. I built the first version of CAPI Shield myself — configuring the Meta Conversions API directly via Make.com — and it sends the same server-side events to Meta that the paid tools do, at $0.

That pattern repeated across every category. Inventory management. P&L reporting. TikTok Events API. Email automation. In every case, the paid app was charging monthly for configuration work that takes under 10 minutes to replicate directly. So I documented all of it — step by step, with the exact API endpoints, field mappings, and Make.com scenario structures — and published it free.

The full source for every tool is public on GitHub, so nothing here is a black box. Anything I describe can be inspected, forked, and rebuilt independently — which is more than any of the paid alternatives offer.

Every number on this site is sourced or clearly framed. The Event Match Quality target (7+) is what well-matched server-side events typically achieve. Savings figures are calculated against current Shopify App Store pricing, checked regularly. Conversion-recovery percentages (20–40%) match published ranges from Meta's own CAPI documentation. No fabricated metrics. No purchased reviews. No manufactured social proof. If a number isn't backed by a source, it isn't here.

What I work with directly

The guides on this site cover areas I implement hands-on. Here is an honest breakdown of what I build and test directly:

Server-side tracking
Meta CAPI & Google Enhanced Conversions
Direct implementation of Meta Conversions API and Google Enhanced Conversions via Make.com webhooks — configured to reach the high Event Match Quality (7+) that well-matched server-side events achieve.
Automation
Make.com & Google Apps Script
Building Make.com scenarios for Shopify webhook routing, multi-branch logic, error handling, and retry patterns. Diagnosing and fixing Google Apps Script quota errors at volume.
Inventory & reporting
Shopify Webhooks & Google Sheets
Real-time order logging to Google Sheets via Shopify Order payment webhooks. Live P&L dashboards tracking revenue, COGS, ad spend, and net profit — no BI tool required.
TikTok & email
TikTok Events API & Systeme.io
Server-side TikTok Events API via Make.com — built to recover the 20–40% of conversions iOS ITP strips from browser-only tracking. Replicating Klaviyo automations on Systeme.io's free plan with full parity.

Affiliate links fund this resource. Stack Architect uses affiliate links to Make.com, Systeme.io, Tidio, Gorgias, GetResponse, Beehiiv, and Google Workspace. If you sign up via a link on this site, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. I only recommend tools I use and have tested hands-on myself. Affiliate relationships do not influence which tools are recommended — if a free alternative exists, it is always listed first.

The tools are free forever. No tool on this site has a paid tier or will ever move behind a paywall. The $29 Complete Kit is a one-time purchase of pre-built files — four Make.com JSON blueprints and two Google Sheets templates — not a gated version of the free guides. Everything in the kit can be built manually from the free guides.
Numbers are sourced or clearly framed. The Event Match Quality target (7+) reflects what well-matched server-side events achieve. Savings ranges reflect current Shopify App Store pricing, cross-referenced as of June 2026. Conversion-recovery percentages (20–40%) match published ranges from Meta's own CAPI documentation.
External sources are cited throughout. Where guides reference API behaviour, platform documentation, or third-party specifications, the source is linked directly to the official documentation. Platform pricing and API behaviour change — always verify current details directly with the vendor before deployment.
